Activity Review

  1. Keep using your cigarette scorecard.
  2. Wait 5 minutes after an urge hits.
  3. Try to get rid of any cigarettes that you don't really need.
  4. Buy your cigarettes by the pack.
  5. Only use matches to light up.
  6. Put all your butts in the Butt Bottle until it is full.
  7. Carry and store your cigarettes in a new place.
  8. Don't empty ashtrays.
  9. Hold cigarettes in your other hand.
  10. Don't smoke your first cigarette for at least one hour.
  11. Get enough rest.




You may not be sure how you feel about quitting smoking.
Part of you may be happy, while a part of your really wants to keep smoking. These feelings are O.K. As we said before, if you follow the program, you will quit smoking for good.




Have these items with you when you begin the Skill Development Stage.
  1. Your cigarette scorecard.
  2. Your cigarette pencil.
  3. One pack of your favorite brand of cigarettes.

TOMORROW
Go to the Taking Off section. You will begin the Skill Development stage of the program where you will learn how to be a comfortable, confident non-smoker.


This week marks the start of a big step for you.

By the time you finish Smokeless, you will be free of cigarettes forever. It will be an event to be proud of!
